Step One: Personalize Your Home

Building your home on paper is the first thing we'll accomplish at our initial meeting with you. This is a no cost, no obligation meeting that will help you determine your needs, budget, and preferences, and whether we'll be building on your lot or one of ours. We'll discuss your monthly investment objectives, customize a financing plan, and answer any questions you might have about specific features in your home, building techniques, and financial procedures.

Step Two: Reserve Your Home Site

If you're purchasing one of our lots, secure your home site of your choice with a $500.00 deposit. This allows you to protect your location from other customers and runs for 3 consecutive days. At this time we will schedule a date to sign the purchase agreement.

Step Three: Purchase Agreement and Deposit

If you're purchasing one of our lots, you will meet with our building consultant to authorize your purchase agreement and make your first deposit within 3 days of the home site reservation. If you determined that you've already purchased a lot, this appointment will be scheduled shortly after our first meeting. Pre-approval is helpful before authorizing your purchase agreement. In the event that you are not able to obtain a mortgage commitment according to the purchase agreement, all deposits will be refunded.

Step Four: Plot Your Home's Location

Within 3 days of authorizing your purchase agreement, you will meet with your building consultant and your project manager to stake off your home on your lot.

Step Five: Final Selections

After staking off the location of your future home you will meet with your building consultant. To confirm all selections, to your new home, design your kitchen, select flooring, and make any final changes.

Step Six: Mortgage Application

Within 10 days of signing your contract agreement you will contact your mortgage loan office of your choice, and arrange a meeting to begin the application process.

Step Seven: Additional Deposits

One month after signing the purchase agreement, you will make your second deposit. Arrangements for subsequent deposits are determined by the type of financing you chose for your home.

Step Eight: Construction of Your Home Begins

Once we have received your deposits, mortgage approval and building permits, we can begin the construction of your home. We will arrange a customer involvement meeting with your Project Manager approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of construction. This is an opportunity to meet the Project Manager who will be overseeing the construction of your home and familiarizing you with the construction process.

Step Nine: First On-Site Progress Report

You will meet at the jobsite with the project manager to discuss the progress of your home after the foundation has been installed. At this time all selections should be finalized and ordered.

Step Ten: Second On-Site Progress Report

After the home is framed and the majority of utilities are roughed in, you will meet the project manager at the jobsite to discuss the progress of your home.

Step Eleven: Third On-Site Progress Report

After the majority of the cabinets and trim is installed, you will meet with the project manager at the jobsite to discuss the progress of your home as we enter the finishing stages.

Step Twelve: Welcome to Your New Home

You will find that the majority of work is complete at this meeting. This is the final walk-through and orientation, where you are guided by the building consultant and the project manager through your home. Orientation items, if any, are scheduled for completion. All outstanding payments and final draws are due by this orientation meeting.

Step Thirteen: Settling into Your New Home
